Ken brings experience in health plan leadership, clinical strategy, and healthcare innovation to PotentiaMetrics. He retired in 2022 as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Centene Corporation, where he served for seven years. He was a member of the executive management team during Centene’s growth from approximately $20 billion to $120 billion in annual revenue.

His responsibilities included medical strategy, population health, clinical analytics, utilization management, pharmacy policy, quality, and risk adjustment. He also contributed to acquisitions and domestic and international business expansion.

Dr. Yamaguchi is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and previously held the Sam and Marilyn Fox Distinguished Professorship at Washington University School of Medicine. He has authored more than 175 publications and earned his MBA from Washington University’s Olin Business School.
