Leveraging over a decade of research and development from Washington University in St. Louis, PotentiaMetrics was founded as a standalone company in 2015. With funding from the NCI, Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation, and Palmer’s father’s estate, the company was set up to commercialize its groundbreaking work in cancer outcomes.

The cancer models were validated by Erasmus University in the Netherlands, a leading institution in outcomes research. Through this extensive review, Erasmus University confirmed the accuracy and reliability of these models, marking a critical step in establishing a credible resource that people with cancer and their care teams could rely on to guide informed treatment decisions.
